Regular Roof Barns

The regular roof offered at Carport Central is the most economical option. It has corrugated ridges running horizontally, a great choice for customers who live in areas that experience moderate weather conditions. Because of its simple framing, our regular roof is easier to install, cutting back on assembly time.

Regular Style Metal Barns

Many farmers invest in our regular roof barns to shelter their livestock or agricultural equipment from the weather. The rounded edges of the roof resemble the design of a barn, blending well with existing structures.

Some customers have converted the inside of their barn into a riding arena for their horses to practice for competitions, including a tack room for their equipment. Another common use for our metal horse barns is storage for agricultural equipment — tractors, combine, baler, plow, and everything in between. With the money you save from opting for a regular roof, you can even choose to add more personalized features. For example, you can have an additional lean-to installed for your animals to roam outside while still having overhead shelter from the elements.

Personalize It

Every customer has unique needs and requirements, and no two budgets are the same, either. That’s why we offer a variety of customization options to personalize your new barn! We don’t set limits for our customers here at Carport Central, so don’t set them for yourself either.

  • Dimensions – Choosing the right size for your metal barn is important. You want to make sure the barn is wide enough, tall enough, and long enough to fulfill whatever needs you may have.
  • We offer up to 18 color options (depending on your location), free of charge. Our deluxe package is also available, it is a two-tone (wainscot) option. You can check out our color options here.
  • Windows are perfect for letting natural light into your barn. We offer 30”x30” as our standard size window; however, other sizes are available depending on your location. One of our building specialists would be glad to give you more information about window options.
  • Garage doors are great for customers who wish to fully enclose their new building. Not only do they provide additional protection for your livestock but are easy access points for your agricultural equipment. We also have an option for frame-outs if you prefer to have an open access.

Roof Styles

In addition to our regular roof, we also provide two other styles: A-frame and vertical. Each type has a unique set of characteristics and advantages compared to the next.

A-frame Roof Style – This style is also known as the “boxed-eave” roof or “A-frame horizontal.” This style resembles the vertical roof, the difference being the paneling and framing. The A-frame roof has horizontal-oriented panels just as the regular, making it suitable for areas that have moderate wind and light rain. You can visit this page on our website for more information on this style.

Vertical Roof Style – Carport Central recommends this roof style for customers who live in areas that are prone to extreme weather conditions such as high winds and heavy precipitation rates. It is installed with vertical panels, a hat channel, and ridge caps, providing the best possible protection for your barn. Prices for Regular Roof Style Barns

The price of your regular roof barn varies on your location, the size and style of your structure, chosen customization options, and the manufacturer. We partner with over 20 manufacturers across the country, each providing us with their respective pricing sheets. With the right pricing sheet and the specs you choose for your custom structure, we can quickly finalize a price quote for you.

Due to their flexibility of design, metal barns have a bigger selection of customization options than our other metal building styles. Because of this, we do not have one standard size or price for our metal horse barns. If you aren’t sure about your requirements or what you might need, one of our building specialists will be more than happy to help you.

Delivery and Installation

Once you’ve placed a deposit on your metal barn, the manufacturer will be in touch with you to schedule a day for delivery and installation. There are a few things to remember before our crew arrives with your barn:

  • You must have a proper site for installation
    • To find the perfect site, you need to ask yourself “Do I have enough room for a barn to be installed here?” If so, make sure you also have a level foundation prior to install to prevent delays and possible added charges.
  • Clear the site of any debris or vegetation
  • After the site is cleared and level, make sure the installation crew can reach the correct spot. If there is more than a 50-foot difference between the delivery truck and the site, additional labor fees may be charged.
