Carport Central is proud to announce that we have once again been honored with the prestigious BBB Torch Award for Ethics, recognizing our commitment to integrity and excellence in business practices. This award, presented by the Better Business Bureau of Central and Northwest North Carolina, highlights our dedication to serving our customers with transparency and quality. As we celebrate our 10th year in business, we remain focused on doing what’s right, valuing ethics in all that we do. As the first metal building dealer in the Triad area to receive this award in both 2019 and 2024, we are grateful for this recognition and remain committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all that we do. 

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a vital nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing trust and transparency in the marketplace. It serves as a resource for consumers, enabling them to find reliable businesses that uphold high standards of honesty and ethical practices. By providing information on business ratings, reviews, and complaints, the BBB helps consumers make informed decisions. Simultaneously, it encourages businesses to adhere to principles of integrity and accountability. Through its efforts, the BBB plays a crucial role in fostering a fair business environment for everyone involved. 

Carport Central has proudly maintained its BBB accreditation since 2015, consistently maintaining the highest rating of A+. This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to the principles set forth by the Better Business Bureau. Being recognized as recipient of the Torch Award, twice, showcases our dedication to upholding these high standards in every aspect of our business. 

Criteria

Each applicant was required to provide several references as well as speak to how their business demonstrates four criteria: 

  1. Character: Trust Rises From The Top; Leadership Must Choose Trust
  2. Culture: Choosing a Culture of Trust 
  3. Customers: Prioritizing Trust Results in Stronger Customer Relationships
  4. Community: Being a Proactive and Authentic Partner in the Community
