Price Factors

What Changes the Price

Six decisions move the number more than anything else. Knowing them up front is the difference between a surprise and a plan.

Size

Width drives the price hardest, then length, then leg height. Widening a building costs more per foot than lengthening it, because the trusses have to carry further.

Roof Style

Regular roof is the most economical option. A-frame boxed eave sits in the middle. Vertical roof costs the most and is the one built to shed rain and snow off the ends.

Framing Gauge

12 gauge and 14 gauge framing are both offered, and both carry a 20-year rust-through warranty. Heavier framing costs more and is the usual pick for wind and snow country.

How Much You Enclose

An open structure is the cheapest thing we build. Every side and end panel adds sheeting and framing, which is why a fully enclosed garage prices well above an open cover of the same footprint.

Doors, Windows and Options

Roll-up doors, walk-in doors, windows, insulation, extra anchors and colour choices are all priced individually, so a spec sheet can move the total quickly.

Certification and Your State

Certified buildings are engineered for local wind and snow loads and usually cost more than non-certified units. Requirements and freight vary by county and state, so the delivered price does too.

Your Dream RV Carport at An Affordable Price

We want to make sure you have the exact carport that you need to provide the ultimate protection for your RV. This means you can customize your structure exactly the way you want it. But that also means that the more customizations you make, the higher the RV cover prices will be.

That’s not the only thing that can impact our RV cover prices. Here’s a look at the factors that can cause your carport to add up:

• Size and Dimensions

Our RV covers are usually built with dimensions of 12’-30’ wide, 21’-51’ long, and 12’-20’ tall. However, if you need more storage space, we can customize the structure to become any size you need. Of course, the more room you add, the more money you will have to pay.

• Customizations

As we mentioned earlier, the more customizations you make, the higher the price for your RV cover will be. Here are some customizations that can change our RV carport prices:

1. Gauge framing

We offer 14 and 12-gauge steel framing. The lower the gauge, the thicker and stronger the material will be. And you guessed it, thicker also means it will cost more. The 14-gauge steel framing, which is the industry standard, is our most economical option. Our 12-gauge framing has a higher tensile strength that provides higher snow load and wind load ratings. Yes, the 12-gauge will cost more upfront, but it’s a small price to pay for peace of mind knowing that your carport and your RV are protected.

2. Certification

Some local ordinances require that you certify any building that has to be constructed. This means your building will be certified by a professional engineer and built to meet local specifications. Whether your RV cover certification is required, or you just want extra reassurance, it pays to have the proof that your building is rugged enough to handle whatever Mother Nature throws its way.

3. Colors

We offer 17 colors that are sure to compliment a building that’s already on your property or help your RV carport stand out on its own. You can choose from Charcoal, Pewter Gray, Black, White, Barn Red, Green, Tan, Pebble Beige, Sandstone, Brown, Clay, Slate Blue, Galvalume, and Burgundy. We also have three premium colors that are available for a 10% surcharge. While Burnished Slate, Copper, or Crimson Red may cost more, it’s worth it!

4. Manufacturer

We are proud to partner with local manufacturers to provide faster lead times across the nation. However, your local manufacturer has their own set prices, so this is another factor that could impact RV storage prices.

5. Install Location

Where you plan on having your structure installed will also impact our RV cover prices. If you live in an area that experiences heavy snowfall or high winds, then you will require a stronger gauge and will need your RV cover to be certified. This will add up, but provide the ultimate protection you need.

6. And more

How Much Will It Actually Cost?

At Carport Central, we understand that no two RVs are exactly alike, and neither are the metal RV cover prices. We want to make sure you have the exact carport that you need to provide the ultimate protection for your home away from home. This means you can customize your structure to be exactly the way you want it. Because there are so many options for customization, this makes it hard to give you an exact price. However, our structures are top-quality, with some of the most competitive RV cover prices in the industry. And affording your RV cover won’t be a problem with the excellent Rent-to-Own and Financing options that we offer at Carport Central.

The RTO option is available directly through Carport Central. We guarantee that if you apply, you won’t have to go through a long-drawn-out credit check because there’re no credit checks whatsoever. You’ll know within the same day if you’re approved for your new metal building. And the best part? You can pay it off at any time.

We also work with several preferred financing lenders that make our financing program quick and easy. All you’ll need to do is fill out an application online, and we will put you in direct contact with the lender of your choice. You’ll know if you’re approved within minutes. It really is that simple!

Whether you’ve budgeted for this addition or just realized that you need an RV carport, we have the financial plan for you. If you have questions about either of our programs, give us a call at (980) 321-9898.

Why should you install your RV carport instead of having us do it for you?

• RV carport kit prices are cheaper

You get a discount for installing the carport yourself.

• The installation happens on your own time

Let’s be honest, scheduling an installation day can be a bit of a hassle. You have to do it when it’s a good time for our installation crews, and that may not be a great time for your schedule. If you do it yourself, you can install it when it’s convenient for you instead of waiting for the crew to show up.

• Show of your DIY skills

There’s no better way to show off your handy skills than by proudly showing everyone the RV carport that you installed on your own. We promise to make it easy for you by including everything that you will need to get your RV carport up without any problems. You just provide the tools and the manpower, and then you can proudly say you installed your own RV carport! That’s something to be proud of!

FAQ

RV Carports Price Questions

How Much Does a RV Carport Cost?

Right now the lowest listed rv carport in our catalogue starts at $7,254, and we have 21 buildings priced online across every width we build. Price moves with size first, then roof style, framing gauge, how much of the building is enclosed, and whether it is certified for your county. The table on this page shows the current starting price in each width band.

What Changes the Price of a Metal Building?

Six things, roughly in order of impact: the size you pick, the roof style (regular, A-frame boxed eave, or vertical), the framing gauge, how many sides and ends you enclose, doors and windows, and whether the building is certified for local wind and snow loads. Your delivery state matters too, because certification requirements and freight are not the same everywhere.

Are the Prices on This Page the Price I Will Pay?

They are real catalogue starting prices for the sizes shown, not estimates. What they do not yet include is your state, your site conditions, certification, or any options you add. Send us the size you want and a building specialist will confirm the delivered price for your address before you commit to anything.

What Framing Do You Offer?

Two choices, 12 gauge and 14 gauge, and both carry a 20-year rust-through warranty. Heavier framing costs more up front and is the usual choice for high wind or heavy snow areas.

Do I Need a Certified Building?

That depends on your county, not on us. Certified buildings are engineered and stamped to meet local wind and snow loads and are usually what a permit office wants to see. They cost more than non-certified units. Check with your local permit office first, then tell us which one you need.

Can I Pay Monthly Instead of All at Once?

Yes. Rent-to-own has no credit check on buildings up to $25,000 and can be approved the same day. For larger buildings we work with third-party lenders. Both routes are explained on our rent-to-own and financing pages.

Get Your Exact Price in Writing

Send us the size you have in mind and a building specialist will price it for your state, confirm what certification your county needs, and show you the monthly payment if you would rather not pay it all at once.

See Payment Options

Prices shown on this page are the lowest currently listed in our online catalogue for each size band and are not a quote, an offer or a commitment. The delivered price of a building depends on the size and options you choose, the roof style, framing gauge, level of enclosure, certification requirements in your county, and your delivery state and site conditions. Catalogue prices change; the figures here refresh from the live catalogue twice a day.
