Workmanship warranty

Covers any issues that may arise due to manufacturing or installation. It applies to every installed metal carport and metal building, no matter which gauge of steel you choose.

10 years

Panel warranty

Covers chipping and cracking on your roof and wall panels. If your paneling rusts through to the point of weakness inside that window, we replace the failed parts.

20 years

Rust-through warranty

Covers rust-through on the framing, on both 12-gauge and 14-gauge frames. If your framing rusts through to the point of weakness inside that window, we replace the failed parts.

We back our metal carports, metal garages, and steel structures with a 30-day workmanship warranty. This warranty covers any issues that may arise due to manufacturing or installation. If you are unsatisfied with your structure, call our experts and let us make it right. It applies to all installed metal carports and metal buildings, no matter the gauge you choose.

The 10-year panel warranty

We also trust our materials to go the distance. That is why we offer a 10-year panel warranty covering chipping and cracking on your roof and wall panels. If your paneling rusts through to the point of weakness within that timeframe, we will replace the failed parts.

The 20-year rust-through warranty on framing

What can void your warranty

With any warranty, there are some limitations and restrictions that may apply. Here are a few things that may void the warranty on your carport or metal building.

Acts of nature

Sometimes, events beyond anyone's control, like floods, earthquakes, or lightning strikes, can damage your product. Unfortunately, warranties typically don't cover these "acts of nature."

Wear and tear

With regular use, things wear down. Warranties usually won't cover damage from regular wear and tear. So if your product breaks down because you've been using it daily for years, it's unlikely the warranty will foot the bill for repairs.

Skipped maintenance

While our buildings are designed to need minimal maintenance, our products require occasional upkeep to keep them in top condition. Warranties typically expect you to handle this maintenance yourself, and failing to do so can void them.

Unauthorized modifications

You might be a DIY whiz, but making unauthorized modifications to your product will likely void its warranty.

Keeping your warranty valid

Low maintenance, not no maintenance

Our buildings are designed to need minimal maintenance, but they do need occasional upkeep to stay in top condition, and a warranty expects you to handle that. The good news is that there is not much to it.

Hose it off. Unlike a wooden structure, a metal building needs no repainting or staining. In most cases you can just hose it out and hose it off.
Handle the occasional upkeep yourself. Warranties expect it, and skipping it can void them.
Skip the unauthorized modifications. Altering the structure yourself will likely void its warranty. Call us instead and we will look at adding to the building properly.
Keep your paperwork. Your order number is the fastest way for us to pull up your building if you ever need to report an issue.
