Available Roof Styles

Selecting the right roof style for your unit is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. Not only does the roof of a structure provide reliable protection to the contents of the building, but it adds to its structural integrity. There are three available options to choose from, each having their own advantages over the others.

• Regular

  This was the original roof style used in the metal building industry and because of its simple framing, it’s also the most economical. It’s installed with rounded-edges and horizontally-oriented paneling, best suited for areas that typically experience moderate weather conditions.

• A-frame Horizontal

  Also known as a boxed-eave style, this roof is installed with horizontal panels and side eave trim. It is recommended to customers who live in areas that may experience some high winds, but very light rain or snowfall. Its primary benefit is the ability to own an A-frame style structure without the cost of a vertical roof.

• Vertical

  The vertical roof is the most durable option available in the industry. It is installed with additional framing pieces for extra protection and vertical paneling to better channel all rain, snow, and debris off the structure. While it is suited for all climate types, it is highly-recommended for areas with inclement weather conditions. Keep in mind, if your structure is longer than 36’, you’re required to have a vertical roof.
